Family Hui Hawaii will be facilitating a group to support families of Maui. This will provide a supportive space for parents and caregivers to be aware and address what they might be feeling through these challenging times. Incorporating Hawaiian values through teachings of aloha, conversations, cultural and healing practices, and self-care activities, we can help support Maui parents and caregivers as they move toward a path to healing while coping with trauma, loss, and uncertainty. As we all know if parents are struggling to cope with their feelings then those that they are caring for are feeling the same. Our hope is that by providing this Hui we will help Maui parents and caregivers to take these same conversations and practices and support the littles they care for to address what they have experienced or are feeling with everything that has gone on around them. Helping create healthy, happy, and resilient families is our intention.
