Parachute Activities

CALLING OUT COLORS 

Have children who are holding specific color to run/ skip/ hop/ect. around the parachute. 

MAKING BUBBLES 

Start shaking parachute creating small bubbles, then bigger bubbles, then the biggest bubbles; lastly a GIANT bubble altogether. 

PARACHUTE SLIDE

Have child lay on the parachute in front of their adults; toes toward the center of the parachute, and the child’s head near the edge of the parachute. When ready…adults will slowly stand and lift parachute up until children have completed the slide. 

HIDE & SEEK

Adults cover/ hide the children with the parachute and then uncover the parachute to find them. (‘peek-a-boo‘)

UP & DOWN WITH PLAY BALLS 

Adults and children will bring the parachute up, up, up then down, down, down, really fast. Repeat 2+ times and also male bubbles (small, bigger, and biggest) while play balls are still in the parachute.
